35 years of ACTION: an anniversary told through space and art

Nearly 500 guests, including business partners and company staff, gathered on 28 September at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw to celebrate the company’s 35th birthday. The anniversary gala combined the history of ACTION S.A. with modern spaces, technology and art, which attendees were able to experience for themselves through six interactive installations showcasing technology from various perspectives.

35 years on the Polish and international markets have seen thousands of changes, decisions and experiences that have shaped ACTION S.A. over this time. Since it began operations in 1991, the company has developed in step with the changing business landscape, expanding its range of services and forging new areas of cooperation with partners. That is why this anniversary has provided an opportunity to look back on this journey from the perspective of the people who are shaping it together – our employees and business partners.

The future won’t wait. We’re creating it together. Let’s move forward.

Over three decades in business is not just about the constant change inherent in business, but also the stories of the people – employees, partners and customers – with whom we are building the next chapters of Action’s history. “The anniversary was an opportunity for us to look back on the journey we’ve taken, to appreciate our joint efforts and to think with enthusiasm about what lies ahead,” says Piotr Bieliński, President of the Management Board of ACTION S.A.

It was no coincidence that the venue for the celebrations was the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Its space became part of the narrative of the company’s development, and successive sections of the exhibition guided guests through a world of innovative installations, contemporary solutions and new possibilities offered by technology – which can be further developed thanks to the collaboration between ACTION S.A. and its partners.

The zones prepared jointly with our partners showcased the various facets of our collaboration. Each of the specially designed spaces presented a different perspective on innovation, with products and technological solutions becoming elements of interactive artworks within them, says Sławomir Harazin, Vice-President of the Management Board of ACTION S.A.

An anniversary that brings people together

Although each installation told a different story, the common thread remained innovation, collaboration and the practical application of technology. The presence of partners within the museum space emphasised the importance of the relationships built up over the years and the role of the joint search for new solutions.

The official part of the event was complemented by a relaxed tour of the installations, live music and a concert by British singer JP Cooper. Guests were also able to make use of the chill-out zone and catering area. The programme allowed participants to explore the attractions at their own pace, whilst also creating an opportunity for conversations and meetings in a less formal atmosphere.

ACTION S.A.’s anniversary celebration served as both a review of the company’s journey to date and a look to the future. The company is expanding into new areas of business, combining its distribution expertise with e-commerce capabilities and new opportunities in the technology market.

From concept to execution: behind the scenes of the anniversary gala

The event agency El Padre, one of the leading event marketing firms on the Polish market, was responsible for the comprehensive organisation of the ACTION S.A. anniversary gala at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. The agency’s team was responsible for preparing and coordinating the event, combining a creative concept with meticulous attention to every stage of the production. The result was a cohesive narrative spanning 35 years of ACTION S.A.’s history, in which the museum’s space, the installations created in collaboration with partners, and the evening’s programme came together to form a single, refined experience.
