Although this year’s anniversary edition of Intel Extreme Masters is now behind us, the event left a lasting impression – both on esports fans and gaming brands. For Actina, the gaming computer brand owned by ACTION S.A., it was a special opportunity to meet gamers and showcase its equipment at the heart of one of Europe’s biggest gaming events.
From 6–8 February, Kraków became a mecca for esports. For the first time, the Counter-Strike tournament took place at TAURON Arena Kraków, rather than – as had been the case for years – at Spodek in Katowice. The new venue offers significantly more space and the capacity to accommodate up to twice as many fans. This is a clear sign that the popularity of gaming and esports is thriving, and events such as IEM are attracting an ever-wider audience.
Such a trade fair and event environment is a natural setting for Actina – a brand that focuses on direct contact with gamers and demonstrating its hardware in practice. IEM attendees were able to see a special Actina Selection build, prepared for the event in collaboration with Intel and DeepCool. The computer was showcased in a dedicated area of the venue and also appeared on stage during the Actina mini-competition.
The set attracted attention not only for its high-performance components but also for its design – a case with a mesh panel and a built-in screen displaying component temperatures. This allowed visitors to see how modern gaming hardware combines aesthetics with functionality and full control over system performance.
However, the most important aspect was the opportunity to test the hardware’s capabilities first-hand. A special Actina Selection configuration could be tested at stations in the Intel zone, where the systems were paired with IIYAMA monitors and HAVIT accessories. For many visitors, this was a chance to see for themselves how the hardware performs with both demanding games and everyday tasks.
In our brand strategy, the motto “as close to the gamers as possible” is not just an empty slogan. Actina is wherever both professional esports players and computer game enthusiasts are. We also recognise that modern games are placing ever-greater demands on hardware, which is why gamers expect high-performance computers that deliver smooth gameplay and reliability even with the most demanding titles. That is why, in our configurations, we focus on components and solutions that meet the growing needs of the gaming community,” says Magdalena Kościuk, Deputy Marketing Director in ACTION S.A.
This year’s edition of the event attracted huge interest. According to the organisers’ figures, between 6 and 8 February 2026, IEM in Kraków was visited by almost 40,000 spectators from around 50 countries. For brands such as Actina, this is not only a prestigious presence at one of the world’s most important gaming events, but above all an opportunity to meet the global gaming community and showcase the latest technological solutions to them.
